Trains

Travelling to Lake Bled by train is a scenic and relaxing option, especially if you're exploring more of Europe before or after the wedding. Bled has two local stations — Lesce‑Bled (the main one) and Bled‑Jezeró.

  • Connections available from Vienna via Villach

  • Routes from Trieste and Venice with a change in Gorizia or Villach
  • Great option if combining with northern Italy
  • Connections from Munich, Berlin, and Frankfurt via Villach
  • Munich → Villach → Lesce‑Bled is the most common route
  • Comfortable and scenic cross‑border journey

Car

Hiring a car gives you the most flexibility, especially if you want to explore the Julian Alps, Lake Bohinj, or the wine regions.
